Sony introduces its longest APS-C lens to date, the E 70-350mm F4.5-6.3 G OSS lens. This high-performance telephoto zoom lens features a lightweight and compact design and offers a 105-525mm-equivalent zoom for APS-C-format E-mount cameras. Its one aspherical element reduces distortion and spherical aberrations for rendering sharp and highly-detailed images. It has the same XD Linear Motor System as other G-class lenses (which offer quick but quiet and accurate autofocus), as well as an intuitive manual focus control. It has a zoom lock switch to keep the lens length fixed and in place when not in use. The E 70-350mm OSS lens also has a built-in Optical SteadyShot image stabilization system for minimizing the appearance of camera shake when shooting using super-telephoto settings, handheld, or at slower shutter speeds.
